Does anyone know what this icon means? It's driving me crazy having it appear in the icon space

Square Screen and Wi-Fi Icon

This icon basically means that your Android device is casting via wireless to another device that is connected on the network, like an Android smart TV for example. If you have this icon set up on your TV, then simply go over to YouTube and play a video and it will automatically appear there. This technology is known as Google Chromecast.

Ooh thanks, the icon is gone now for some reason. I don't know anything about casting so not sure why it was on.

Try factory reset and if problem persist, can consider downgrade to 9.1

Can try the diagnostic or reboot and see. Most of the time, reboot helps.

Yes. A re-setup of all connections helps too. Wifi, Bluetooth, NFC, bla bla bla...on both the 20X and its connected devices. :)

I realised my auto-rotate is not as sensitive as before. sometimes when it rotate to landscape, when I turn back, it doesn't go back to portrait.

It is! Well! Being the 1st version, it is not that polished yet! Just wait for the next 2 versions.:s22:

Huawei firmware update is quite a fast and furious one! :)

Not sure if I'm the only ones having the problem. Trying Android 10 and Nova launcher. Noticed that under recent, the tiles usually not able to load correctly. For example a tile showing Spotify can actually be WhatsApp app when clicked. It seems the tile visuals are not generated correctly

Didn't happen for me. Is there a pattern or just randomly? Usually, I don't use auto-rotate. If I rotate and need to flip it, I just manually use the icon at the bottom navigation bar. Quite OCD on this rotating thing. 😁

This is the recent menu from the Apps list? Mine seems to work fine the icons are correctly launching the right apps. Initially there was some issues with Nova and UOB I suspect. I set the launcher back to Huawei's then back again to Nova. Or you can try to backup the settings, reinstall Nova and load back your settings?

Just to confirm, the front facing camera usually makes the photo if the foreground people blurred right if you take groupfies, even if the mode is not set to portrait and all those face effects have been turned down to zero. I can't take group photos, the back people always kana blurred out. End up use other brands. Even use P30 like that.

Mate 20 x screen is perfect size for me and battery can last long

Absolutely so! It is likes once you have driven a huge BMW 7 Series, you forever can't drive a smaller BMW 3, 4 or even 5 Series anymore...:s22::s8:
