No need say until thank pax for fares, perhaps this industry just doesn’t suit you. Not going to lecture or encourage you any further, as it is of no use, since you are leaving the industry. I just hope you find a job that suits you better, although with the “minimum effort” attitude you have, it will not be easy to find an organisation. It will only be a matter of time before you complain that the company that hires you does not pay you enough to OT, not enough to reply WA after office hours etc..

If my parents didnt taught me any manners, yours certainly didnt teach you anything about shame.

For the sake of this debate, I will give you a history of my time in phv.

1.5-2yrs ago, many drivers were doing incentives, while I was already a cp. I earned exactly the same as them while I worked lesser hours and definitely clocked lesser mileage.

Back then when most of my jobs were msw, I was a very fair driver.
Even when they were late, I greeted them pleasantly(albeit I would still charge them).
They coughed, I offered water and lozenges.
They sneezed, I offered tissue.
They wanted basement do, no problem.
Needed help with luggage, for sure I was there.

Raining and no shelter for pu/do, i came out with an umbrella to shelter them.
I had extra multi cables for phone charging both at the front and at the back.
I replaced them every 2-3months when I know they were spoilt due to pax abuse, costing me $30 every round.
I bought air fresheners every week and always had compliments on how my car smelled.
I have a eng, chi, malay, jap, korean, viet, thai spotify playlist all to cater to different groups.
I blast the clubbing songs when I'm picking the party people and they always enjoy it.

Xmas, new year's and cny, I bought a big pack of m&m's to give out to every single pax.
Vday, I even bought a 1-stalk hand bouquet to give out if I happened to pick a single lady who wasn't celebrating and I did eventually give it out.

I can go on and on.
But my point is, I always went above and beyond to take care of these riders because I know the fare they pay is high, so give and take is not an issue.
I knew they were loyal g riders, so I took good care of them and made sure they felt appreciated when I thanked them at the end.
I have picked many regular faces, and even have 1 who will tip me $3 every single time, even though it's just s 1km trip.

Now fast forward to today.
Where the fares have fallen at a dramatic rate, and income has been severely affected.
(If you want to see what is actual peak hour surge/rain surge from a year ago, I have proof)
Put yourself in our shoes, did we do anything to deserve this?
Did our petrol cost or rental go down?
Just because g decides to continuously take in drivers, why should the rest of us who have supported them since the early days have to suffer?
Now peak hour in cbd you can still hand out $6 rides? (You want proof?)

I rmb vividly when I first signed up for g.
I asked the trainer, what if I'm outside CBD, and I get a $6 ping from inside cbd? Who pays the erp?
In his exact words, the trainer said,

"dont worry, CBD/Town fares are always higher than other areas, it will be able to cover your erp cost to enter."

Anyway, as I have mentioned, I am a very fair driver. You pay me $6, I will give you $6 quality. You pay high surge, I will take care of you.

Since nowadays I only get your job because I'm cheap right? Then why the fk should I still go the extra mile?

I fk your mom today, you report me.
Tmr no surge and taxi stand long queue, you will book g again, yes?

All those little gestures I provided for pax in the past, why don't you make a guess if I still do any of those.

You want to talk about corporate environment and me unwilling to reply WA after office hours, it's an entirely different scenario dumbass.

In an office job, I get a fixed income, if I'm asked to do OT without pay, most bosses will return you with a day/time off.
Working in an office, we steal little smoke breaks and extended lunch breaks or leave early, so there's always a give and take.

Any boss who only takes, definitely has a high staff turnover rate which is self-explanatory.

The 4 vendors of phv today, which 1 of them advertises about good service?
Or do they all advertise only about having "reasonable fares"?

To put into context, since you choose to use me only because I'm cheaper.
If I wanna play Bollywood music/man yao/cny music for your whole ride, what valid complain you have?

You report to LTA and say I play rubbish music and refuse to change the music.
You think LTA will seriously entertain you?

If my aircon is not cold enough for you and I refuse to adjust it, you think you have anything to report me about?

I'm a very fair driver.
Good fare, good service.
Sh1t fare, you're dead to me.

Only the drivers who have PA on both g and gj are unaffected in their income.

No matter how little the demand is, they will still get it first.

GoJerk no hab Priority Allocation, only Prolonged Allocation. I am Platinum tier, supposed top tier but pings are still like sai.
