For circle life SIM card, cannot set PIN and there is no PUK code? I contacted the CS, they said their SIM card, cannot set PIN and the SIM card comes with protection function that it will never get locked.

But I tried to set PIN not successful and it said left with 2 more attempts to get locked.

Best to ask these 'tech' stuff in their related threads, where only Circle.Life users can answer better.

Leave here for more plans questions....

Don't know which to choose Gomo or Giga ? Any advice ?

3 months will also be temporary too. Best is to fix it throughout the whole duration.

Yes this is the best but if they don’t intend to include it for as long as you are on the plan then might as well give at least a few months.

I heard Gomo totally no voice/sms while oversea. Giga at least can receive SMS in case you need OTP. Maybe someone here can help to clarify.

Not true.

Both gomo and giga can receive SMS while overseas.

Both can but both cannot calls or receive calls or send sms.

and roaming countries supported are also limited as compare to grid mobile or circles life which pretty much support all the countries of the red and orange telcos.

Giga has the gigaRoam plan for ROTW (rest of the world).

I would say they are pretty similar. If you're looking at a pure data to price ratio (GOMO: $20 for 20GB; Giga: $25 for 25GB), then both are the same at $1 per GB, but Giga offers 800min more talktime.

Roaming wise, I would prefer Giga as it starts at 1GB for $5 while GOMO starts at 2GB for $10.

I would wait till Giga's pop-up plan of $18 for 20GB comes out again if a 20GB plan is enough.

1000 Grid Points = automatic bill waiver
So looks like 2nd month bill will be free with this promo, since the T&CS state that points will only be awarded if users don't terminate within the month of sign up.

First month will be offset by registration fee credited back to your bill. Second month onwards will be $11.88 off with the points. There is no waiver totally.

They communicated that the 1188 Grid Points are worth $11.88, but on their website, under bill rebates, it states that "Your bill will automatically be offset when you have ≥ 1000 points", so with this mechanics, the 1188 points should seemingly result in a full waiver though.

No longer available and not a permanent plan so I don’t think it will be displayed on their website. Maybe check their Facebook older posts.

I thought the $18/- promotion until 7 Jan ? Saw it recently.

It was originally 1-7 Jan, but they shortened the promo period to 1-3 Jan afterwards.

They changed it to 3/1 ended. Someone did pay about it here.

The $18 for 20GB pop-up plan is a limited time only plan that is available from 1 to 3 Jan 2020, 2359. The pop-up plan comes with 20GB, 200 mins and 200 SMS. Once you have purchased this plan, you can continue to enjoy it for as long as you like. The pop-up plan entitlements and price will remain constant every month.

i'm using the $18 plans now actually.
Just cheaper by $7 for 5GB lesser data

but i am also tempted to shift to circle.life who has unlimited data for 12 months for $18
