hi, i'm deciding between iswitch, geneco or tuas power

any recommendation? and what's the promo codes for?

Hi

Just pm'ed you me referral code for Tuas Power.

For your queries,

iSwitch - no actual experience with them. But some of their plans have admin fee, do check before you apply.

Geneco - good price and referral rabate. But, some have complained in this thread pertaining their customer service issue. You need to have Facebook Messenger to contact them for CS support.

Tuas Power - integrated billing, link points for electricity usage, CS email replied within 1 day. I use them and no issue until now.

The rates difference between them, I would say, is negligible unless your usage is super high. In which case, you might want to look at SP wholesale plan. Cons are that fluctuating rates and no referral rebate.

Looking to switch to Tuas Power, can anyone PM their referral code?

Just to check, if my existing supply end date is 8 Mar, then the preferable commencement date should be 9 Mar right?

PM sent!
Yes, you can register now and set the start date. The earliest available start date usually 2 weeks from the day you register. When I register, the earliest available start date was 3 weeks later!

Those who switched back to SP group, did you receive any letter asking you to pay the security deposit again?

Before OEM started, I believe we are required to make a $100 security deposit when you open a utilities account with SP.

Then I switched over to OHM when OEM launched, and they didn't require me to pay any security deposit as far as I remember.

Now I am switching out to SP wholesale and received a letter asking me to make a security deposit payment of $65.

Is this normal? All along I thought the security deposit is always with SP group. I don't see any deduction made by OHM/SP from the security deposit.

The monthly bill sent by SP every month always show the deposit as $100 still even when I switched to OHM previously. Why is there a need for another deposit? Anyone with same case?

Not too sure if you can transfer deposit from OEM to SP Group. And yes, my SP Wholesale plan also has deposit of $65, but it deducted from the old SP regulated tariff + water account.

Cannot be Ohm never take deposit from your original SP account.

Just checked the bill and there's a remark that the security deposit is administered by SP on behalf of Ohm. I'm guessing one of them will use it to offset the final bill and refund back the remaining amount if any. Think I will drop an email to SP.

Is this monthly auto deduction? :s11:

Useless u pay by giro , using app is one time payment , alt u can arrange with your credit card comp to sign up for auto deduction, but for Tuas power if I am not wrong there is no rebate promo by credit card comp as some of the other power retailer offer. Some credit card like POSB Everday credit card do offer percent rebate since your bill is the same as SP power bill.
