Hello everyone, I'm 23 years old and new to investing. Have around 15-20k to invest for the long term. What are your thoughts on me putting all my savings into IWDA? Is this too risky? I have already put aside whatever emergency fund I need so this 15-20k is what I plan to invest. I am thinking of buying lump sum after the price stops dropping to be safe. Thank you so much!

How will you know that the price drops have stopped? Do post here so all of us can buy at the bottom.

If you don't know, it is best to have a plan to dollar cost average along the way.
Either way, at 23, you're off to a good early start. Congrats!

If your average price is higher than whatever current price on the market, it's a good time to buy some to lower your average price

How bottom is bottom? I think can see 55 today later

now is 57

Nobody know how bottom is bottom, so if your average price is higher than the current price, you can buy some to push down your average price.

Thanks for the reply. Was thinking of topping up a few more shares to hit the minimum USD 10 commission for this month on IB. Will see how it goes today. Hopefully it dips more :)

How many shares did buy so that fees are $10?

Thank you for sharing. I am trying to figure out how much to buy to maximise the use of the Ib Commission.
