that seller u mention, he is doing dropshipping from hk....his profile is unclear...too risky.

minihelpers is going to list the monitor once their cargo in transit....at least they got rma centre in sg.

I suspect MiniHelpers are just gonna provide a single year warranty. If you want longer warranty, you will have to top up. But yeah, its better than no warranty locally.

Why is this monitor compared with the x340 pro? One is 144hz and one is 100hz. I thought that in itself is a pretty huge difference

You all becareful of minihelper, he lies a lot about shipping. Always says shipping but makes you wait wait wait.

Must likely he's a drop shipper with no local stock.

34" (1500R) 2k 144Hz= 81cm width $4xx
27" (1800R) 1080p / flat 2k =62cm width $2xx/$3xx
23.8" flat 1080p = 54cm width $15x

The trends now is curved as it reduce eye fatigue.
last time 34" pricing is a bit turn off, so many will just get 2 x monitors.

34" vs 2 x 27"

Tested the Mi 34 for couple of hours, it is an incredible screen. Bought it on the official Mi tmall site, shipped here via ezbuy sea.

The resolution and real-estate is awesome for productivity, multiple excel/PDF windows open side by side. Colors are good, just losing slightly to an IPS and ultra-wide gaming is incredibly immersive. I came from a Dell ultrasharp 27 IPS. 27" 60 hz -> 34" 144 hz is an insane difference.

I was concerned about the curved screen at first but it's actually more comfortable for the eyes, especially at this size and viewing distance. I can maintain the same viewing distance i did with my old 27.

No noticeable black smearing on the Mi VA. Build quality on the panel and stand is well done. No panel flex, solid rigidity, the plastic materials used have that Apple-quality of finesse about them, which runs across a lot of their other products as well. I think xiaomi's economy of scale generally helped them maximize their products' build quality, punching way above their price point.

Honestly if you didn't know how much the mi 34 cost, you would think it's a 1k monitor. Overall at <$600 this is a mind blowing bargain. Hope this mini review helps some of you.
