Rivervale area gonna kao peh about upgrading soon. Block 101 to 110 already 20 years. One of my ex neighbor are the pioneer batch that moved in in 1997

Compassvale area is the one that has no significant new landmark all these years, other than a childcare. Therfore got pap or no pap, it really doesn't make any difference

Anchorvale is the one with a hospital. Together with compassvale, it also stagnated with no significant landmark after the stadium

Fernvale ppl still want more of this and that...

OK that's about it for this town for those who bothers...

Ya my parents lived here over 20 years. They said teo sek luck never do work and buildings remains the same. Never see him walking past once and without pap lives goes on. Time to make them awaken

Kopitiam Square is actually at Sengkang central though, just beside Compass One. I don’t eat there though as I have nearer options at Rivervale Mall, sometimes at the most I just go Compass One buy food rather than walking further to Kopitiam Square. Understand your point though.

I think some still confuse by the road name Sengkang central(buangkok mrt) and Sengkang square (Sengkang mrt)

I always just assume central = bus interchange, MRT, the ‘mega’ estate mall that area...I think many Singaporeans also think that way but I’ve never really considered Buangkok as part of Sengkang, they are kind of like their own small estate right? I don’t even know which GRC they are under

I agree to your point, but u need to highlight which part of buangkok, for example I live in Sengkang but the nearest mrt station is buangkok.

Buangkok actually is the area around IMH and hougang Blk 970+.

Cos the mrt station need a name so they gave it Buangkok. The road name is compassvale bow/link.

There was a small market plus ntuc there until it was torn down before the last election. Then lam pin min go promise a "integrated development" which is vague.

Until now still building? I pass by there last August and it seems so
