I opened CIMB in June, nerfed in July.

I also opened RHB early July, soon to be nerfed in September. :s13:

Lucky no fall-below fee, can just zero out if needed.

I can only earn RHB for 1 month...still higher than my BOC at 1.25%

Update: I just called RHB. there is an onging technical issue. Hopefully to be fixed by Monday

The abovementioned IB setp issue is still an ongoing issue which RHB says they are aware for new users.

Also, i just tried doing a FAST transfer($100) on RHB mobile app but failed with error code LCL100 and lcba20054. Have Escalated this to RHB. Sibei jialat, no IB and FAST transfer on mobile app also problem now. Anyone else facing same issue as me?

Btw, There was a schedluled maintenance on FAST this morning 2am to 10am. Looks like it turm out worse.

Time to move house again from September 1st :s22:

To Singlife it goes.

Need to note that all these latest offers from Singlife and RHB are not FDs. One is not locking in the full XX% P.A. for the one year. 0.5% P.A additional interest for only 2 months for $100K works out to an additional ~$40 per month.

In my opinion, not worth the effort with the musical chairs of moving the funds around. Skip one/two family meals at Ding Tai Fung for a neighbourhood wonton mee at any Hawker Centre already makes the difference.

To put things into perspective. :s8:

For less than $75k, only if they have the risks to default, then not worth.

SingLife is covered under SDIC's PPF.
RHB is covered under SDIC's DI.

Different schemes, different levels of coverage. So it's not all 75K.
