Last time my lecturer said pe also got stress also bc any structural failure they will tio big big

That chop he chopped is his career so one wrong move and he's out of job

PE no stress one I know. Only check and sign only where got issue.

Only those sign blindly one.
Want easy way out. If got check where got problem one

I will stay away from nex until the investigation is done and issue rectified.

ohh now me kinda get it, based on the pic ytd,
that duct is the type which is positioned to face downwards on patrons for the a/c flow?

* before this never paid any attn as to where those ducts are placed :spin:

must have been the relentless vibrations from the movie's sfx & the duct wasn't properly secured? [now this one hard to imagine how it wasn't] :s22:

Now is cinema’s ventilation came crashing down. What is next that is going to crash at Nex? Finest’s ventilation?

Probably secured by long thin round steel bars that has threads on them. One end to the ceiling and the other end on the device. Somehow those steel bar all snapped?

By right false ceiling board need to use hanger rod? Video on false ceiling installation by BCA. Many renovation use the flimsy angle bar as hanger.


I never see residential reno use hanger rods. Wall angles and furring channels only. Wow

I rem i saw in the today news report, the pic showed the long thin rods still attached to the collapsed ventilation duct, n looks full length.. Think is the rods came out from the mounting holes in the real ceiling..
