found a dead pixel in my 55" mi tv 4s, just gotten it for less than a month from minihelper.
Possible to send it back for repair?
Msg them but they just give standard reply to bring it down but not say anything if a dead pixel is covered.....I stay east.....IMM at west.....another corner of singapore

Actually may I ask why you want to import from Taobao? I did some calculation, with the right discount, getting the Xiaomi TV from Qoo10 is almost the same price if not cheaper. Somemore comes with local shop warranty.

oh, is it? Haven’t really go calculate yet, ask the electrical compatibility issue first. But if it is the same price as locally, I will consider buying local or buy other brand of large size, maybe 75” or 80”, quite cheap

Wow this thread has gotten so long since i bought my 1st 4S 55" last year.

Got a couple of questions since i haven't been in this thread for awhile..

1) Thinking of getting another 43" 4S for my grandparents, anyone knows what's the best price recently? Last one i hoot with coupons and all managed to get it for around $360 (global netflix version)

2) When watching LIVE TV (mediacorp), my 55" 4S able to scroll through channels by pressing UP and DOWN keys.

My 43" 4S however, pressing up and down does nothing. I have to press the "CH LIST" button and then scroll through the channels and press enter to change channel. Anyone knows why?

Both are Global Netflix latest version and latest firmware.

I am using the Spain global version of the xiaomi tv 4s and i notice the play store content is very limited unlike my sony android tv. Is there anyway I can get the full play store content ?

I believe this is a bug with the android tv update. Previously when I using Starhub TV box (HDMI), i don't have this issue. But if using live TV (tuner), i need to go to android home first before i chromecast. Else it just error out like what you said

my friend had heard all the complain from you guys...
anyway if u guys get the tv frm imm and the tv gt problem during warranty period...
just give my friend a call to pick up the tv and he will bring it to the service center...

1) Try pressing the "O" button to go to the Android TV main menu and cast to the TV, see if that works

2) If all else fail, reset the TV to default settings (format) - this should fix the issue

I have faced this before on my 43 but not my 55
