if you really want to come edmw for leisure, i suggest you have a fixed schedule for it and limit not more than 15mins everyday.

Mostly the chio bu are outpatients. Met chio bu nurse before.

Some people with certain conditions get to see the psychologist for therapy. But for my case they said I no need. Just recommended me for job training at imh, but I couldn't take instructions well so I quit the job training after 1 lesson.

the job training programme is conducted by Peer Support Specialist (one with mental health condition)?

I don't qualify coz I am suicidal. Need structured environment only available at IMH.

I am being controlled by my mother to not leave the house at all except for doctor's appointments. I have no freedom at home. Even my mum controls my words to not speak my mind and feelings. She is under alot of pressure from my family to look after them coz they have medical problems.

What are your thoughts?

I didn't see any of mistreatment of patients while my time there. Only that I saw that some patients were made to jump through bureaucratic red tape to get released coz of family members who didn't want them back to their home.

I got to stay at one person room fully air-conditioned for 1 day coz I had to take covid test and couldn't join the normal ward till 1 day later after being cleared of covid19.

Are the advise of the medical personnel e.gg psychiatrist helpful to you?

What eventually allow you to achieve discharge? How do you prove that your condition have improve enough to be discharged?


Out of score of 5, how would you rate the professionalism of IMH.

Google review only give 3.0/5. Mostly due to inpatient complaining about mistreatment. And its our the official mental hospital in the country. .
