Thanks bro tec_geek,

So the new iPhone will just work with the AW6 as if nothing has changed ?

Thanks
.

Yes it will work with the AW6 as if nothing has changed. But switching the pairing from the old iPhone to the new iPhone without having to restore the AW data is sometimes a hit or miss for me.

So sometimes just unpair the AW and then pair it again on the new iPhone and it works.

Yesterday my appointment to collect my iPhone 12 Pro Max was from 10pm to 11pm. Waited for two hours then the singtel shop staff told me no caller ID and auto roaming free for my company CIS unless I sign up the zonealarm rubbish for about $3 per month which was totally crap.

End up nothing brought home.

I recontracted the iPhone 12 Pro Max at Singtel shop with Combo 2 and got 24 months free caller ID and roaming and free extra data...I think it really boils down to ehat your company CIS arrangement with Singtel...

If the app is only available in the other country, create an apple account with that country to download the app...

Its about time to weed out those individual hello shop CSOs where they insist certain vas add on is required before the free add ons are given.

Zone alarm is not necessary.

Just like how my CSO told me that the 5G VAS is a hard bundle for singtel iphone 12 launch, until i insist it is a VAS add on and not a hard bundle.

This is the not first time where by the cso just try to push us to sign up for unnecessary VAS add ons just to get what we are entitled to.

i have encountered back in xs max launch, the cso told me the same ******** where caller ID and auto roaming is not free for my company CIS. until i show them my colleague did the same recontract with the same staff pass and the caller ID and auto roaming was free without asking on the same day.

i encoutnered 1 more via call hotline, i requested for delivery to pop station, the sale cso tell me need to sign for zone alarm for free shipping otherwise it will be $XX for delivery. wtf..

singtel needs to come clean, this kind of sales tactics are bad, i wonder how many people kana "scammed"

When I recontract my keyline during iphone 12 pro launch, the CSO at the Singtel shop tell me that 5G come by default and that I have to subscribe to it if I want to collect the iPhone 12 pro...The moment I step out of the Singtel shop, I called Prestige hotline to cancel the 5G VAS and some other add-ons the scumbag CSO stealthily added to my line...

When I ported a line from another telco to Singtel for iPhone 12 Pro Max launch, the scumbag CSO tell me that Singtel made it "mandatory" for all customer to sign up for 5G if I want to collect the iPhone 12 Pro Max...I told the guy that if you sign me up for 5G, I will step out of the store call Prestige hotline to cancel the 5G and put his name and outlet on Singtel Facebook to complain about his word "mandatory" for anyone to sign up for 5G if they want to collect the iPhone and if not, Singtel will not sell you the iPhone...This is his exact words...When I told him that, he said that he will talk to the manager to remove the 5G on the recontract plan...

The next part he told me that I have to pay for sim card fees for porting a line from another telco to Singtel...I told him that I have both Prestige and Singtel-UOB card which have the benefit of free sim card or waiver of recontract fees...

Singtel staff really need to stop treating customers like an idiot or stupid enough not to know or verify anything they said...

Yea it’s supposed to say 50GB. I think you’re missing the Free 10GB Local Data option.

This is mine and I’m on XO78 too:

yes, i prefer to do it online. but on the reservation date last saturday 9am, i have something on. only manage to log in for one min to reserve so i choose to collect at shop becos no need to complete the transaction on the spot. but too bad at shop, totally not worth to sign up there. waste of time.

The company logo says it all, the dots are coins leaving your pockets, it gets bigger each time :s8:

I think it is a problem for the big 3 telecos. At the orange one, when you sign up for new line or recontract, the CSO may also say that you need the MobileCare add-on for at least one month, etc... The CSO probably has sales target to meet.

even Tuas has 5G
i just checked ... Yew Tee too

cancelled my out of contract 4x on the spot after CSO said there’s no differentiate between 4G & 5G
so for the same price, i get 4GB more

but i dunno why my preorder was not reflected in the system when i collected my sets
and i couldn’t activate Numbershare on wife’s line remotely
then i called SingTel and realized they didn’t even know i’d collected 2 new phones instead of 1 🤣🤣🤣
but the reason is they haven’t close the sale for that line ... not sure why though, but now escalated
and only then can they proceed with the numbershare

I maintain my keyline at Combo plan bcos CSO said XO plans not entitled for yearly upgrade.

Combo CIS got free caller ID but XO CIS no free caller ID ...

SongTel introduced new plans to cut what was previously given as free ...
