Well.... realistically, they won't have to deliver 1.24M in shares for the 200 strike price options. A lot of people are going to sell the option back to the MM before market close, because they simply don't have the cash to actually excercise the option. It costs USD20,000 to exercise just 1 call option.

Still, this will probably squeeze like crazy tonight, assuming Wall Street doesn't try more shady tactics to tank the price further. They probably will. The losses they are looking at is so astronomical, that fines and jail time for market manipulation is probably starting to look appealing.

They will likely opt for fine and jail time

a lot... the squeeze is coming tmr or monday latest... you will see the before market attempt to push the price down to make option expire worthless.

reposting this for those who want to know roughly what happen to the brokersp

So he said, the brokers are in talks with banks to get bridging loans to send collateral to DTC? Oh **** ... This **** is getting bigger and bigger.

Non consistent leh, he said if a person sells GME against the wishes of DTC, they wont be able to get the money back. But why yesterday I cant buy the stock but can SELL it?

dun get me start on yesterday IBKR blocked me from averaging down my AMC position..... i wanted to buy AMC at 6.55, then error "closing trades only"
screw them.
buy at 18dollar can, buy at 6.55 cannot......

if it were cash account, i cannot initiate more sell position than my existing buy position. this restriction made me cancel my initial stop limit sell position before initiating a market sell. Really need to learn this in future coz fate may not be so forgiving to me.

my final loss porn that made me stopped gambling on it. from now on I'll just stay on the sidelines...a profit of 6.3k sgd is not too bad.

he didnt say dtc doesnt want you to sell gme. just higher leverage. DTC dont get money is the day the whole market is no more

*my thoughts*
MM want the hedge to close and have lesser exposure therefore they allow a unbalance throttling.

everyone have their thoughts and crap just happens

Problem: who trigger DTC? did those hedge just double down and DTC is like crap... stop everything!

now very hard to gamble bah.... i don't see any clear momentum to put anything further. It's not about going against hedge funds anymore. Regulatory authorities and brokerages are involved. Brokerages can say 1 thing today and then flip prata with an excuse. If the Fed/white house are in it then hoseh. At this rate, gambling on football matches is more entertaining.

Technically if you look at the chart of VW and plotted it out against the GME stock price, it's awfully similar! You diamond hands all the way or got set some autistic TP?

If you follow the story of Porsche and VW, you will realize that the reason why the spike is at 900+ euros is because:

PORSCHE PAPER HANDED.

Y.E.S.:eek: In Porsche's case, it almost an INFINITE short squeeze because Porsche has a monopoly of the shares.

In the case of GME, no 1 has the monopoly, but it's a true short squeeze because short interest is >100%. EVERY SHARE HAS TO BE SOLD AT LEAST ONCE, IN ORDER FOR THE SHORT TO CLOSE.

Please think about this!!!

so the cause is some huge broker firm want to eat up retailer and go way over short the limit . now got burn heavy . dtcc step in and demand 100% payment vs 2%. all firm effected and pushing down gme price in hope that less full cash payment needed. because the amount of trading in gme volume is in billion x share price x 100% cash needed .
market crash, finance broker goes bust, great depression 2021?
