XIAOMI MI 11

Been using the Mi 11 U on its stock China Rom since last Wed, so far so good. Batt life has stabilised and the China theme store pretty interesting. So far all apps working including VOLTE & 5G. Cam is really impressive. Overall very satisfied with the Mi11U.

Volte enabled....but apps that required internet are not working during calls. Right ?

On CN ROM the camera can have fun effect like tik tok, after I switch to XM EU ROM and that addon was taken out from camera function.

No OTA. Can only boot to twrp custom recovery and flash the zip file

how to install twrp ? dont see any guide on xiaomi.eu.
Decided to go on eu rom since saw few ppl cant use google pay on global rom.

Stock set with global rom no issues. but China set flashed with global rom then it can't hehe

I got two bugs. I can't resolve.
WhatsApp pictures once sent after awhile pic in WhatsApp blur then try to open it says media does not exist in you internal storage.
I tried uninstall delete WhatsApp folder and reinstall also cannot. Any other way?
Spotify notification after I pause music and side swap the notification the block still reserve for Spotify and not able to remove it. Only way is to reboot. Anyone on xiaomi eu ROM got solution?
I search xiaomi eu forum so far can't find any solutions.

can help to test if android auto works?

Nope, cannot connect via android auto. Only normal Bluetooth connection. Android Auto app had to be manually installed as well but still cannot be connected. Wonder after I flash to EU Rom, can android auto work?

I bought it from Mobile Hardware. Mine is a used set. Not sure whether they have anymore brand new set. The marble one is limited edition and is more pricey and comes in 512gb storage only.

My friend will be helping me. Flash to EU Rom later this week. Will update you again on Android auto. Not sure if xiaomi will bring in official local sets anot yet.

The WA pic will happen to any phone
I guess its the internet issue
Its like when ppl send out, ur internet download halfway and lost connection so the image/video is corrupted cannot open and cannot redownload

Usually happen to me when im on wifi
Not frequent tho

im using eu rom. but there are people whom have done that. u can also do a youtube search. Friend got his set flashed by Mobilehardware, so i can confirm it works.

when flashing using the mi flash tool, elect the clean all option and DO NOT SELECT CLEAN ALL AND LOCK, that will brick your phone and requires EDL account to recover.

Everything works with some bugs but can live with it most important is google assistant works this is link to Android auto as well since google assistant can help me operate the phone without me touching it while driving.

yup correct. but for flashing global rom is different steps ma... TWRP one is so much more convenient for updating the firmware without using any PC

@dappercivility android auto should work on EU rom as i remember reading it somewhere and @tckrto one is working
