I recently bought a hot, cold and room temperature water dispenser from Aqua Kent Singapore, nearly 6months in. Got it for quite an affordable price but it's not those sleek tankless model been marketed around though. My wallet can't tank with all the reno being done siašŸ˜… Still it was rather slim though at what I measured of 22cm.

overall decent quality and customer service :) just surprise that there wasn't much mention of this brand around though. you guys could perhaps look them up on Facebook haha

Haha don't know if TS is self advertising.

But also looking at adding a tankless water dispenser in the near future, doing research now.

Seems like very little information and real life review given on the internet over big brands with big prices like Wells, Ruhens, Livingcare, Cosmos, Cuckoo etc. Might really need to go make appointment to showroom to find out installation, features and prices.

Another thing that irks me a lot is that most if not all water filter companies don’t have any certification to backup their claims of removing impurities, chlorine and what not. That includes 3M as well that I couldn’t verify the NSF standard that they quoted

beside Wells, Ruhens and Hydroflux I have seen the rest of the brands you mentioned and a few more other brands they have exact same models of each other but just rebranded to their own brand. most probably all just import from KR OEM then paste their own brand name only.

digging up old post.

I am looking for a water dispenser! Thinking to have hot/cold and alkaline option will be good.

Saw Wells super elegant and nice. but so ex! Living care plus endorsed by so many local celebs also about the same price. Ruhens price also went up after featured by NOC. hahah.

Wondering if these prices are worth it? and any lobang you guys have?

Dispenser (must be tankless) and filter serve different purposes. Dispenser provides convenience in a way that if we need drink coffee, immediately hot water can be dispensed. If we need cold water, likewise cold water can be dispensed. Purifying of water is just one of the benefits that come with the dispenser. In short, when i buy the dispenser, is not for the purpose of cleaning water, but for its convenience.

My research shows me this

Wells the One - for every water it dispenses, it uses water. The very pretty series require a very big hole in your table top. The discharge is 1:1. For every 1L drinking water it disperse for you, it uses 1L of water as waste.

Living care - same as above outlet required

Sterra - same as above needs outlet to discharge constantly and no alkaline option. Cheapest and one of the sleakest though. KOREAN oem wannabe

Ruhen - doesn't look as nice, pricy but doesn't have this outlet draining water problem, its V series on the website shows no specifications, no alkaline capabilities etc. Fishy. Can obtain brochure from sales person to understand more but the price point makes no sense

Wells TT UV+ - is one that has no need for discharge outlet. Can consider. Price point cheaper than Ruhen

Cosmo - dont bother

Those which has a requirement for both in and outlet you need to be wary of additional water burn (means u pay more for water bills)

Many alkaline water dispensers are simply marketing hype. Human body never required alkaline water ever since the first homo sapiens was born. All alkaline water had to be neutralize by the stomach acid, making your stomach produce more acid. Taking fruits and vegetable replenish more minerals than alkaline water dispensers. Don't forget to replace the filters regularly as the filters are perfect breeding ground for a lot of bacteria.

Anyone has any advice for the following?

LivingCare
Ruhens
Wells
3M
Cosmo Quantum

I ended up decided on livingcare because it's pretty slim, tankless, motorless and it says got antibacterial qualities (dk how true but i think cnt market fake things right? hahaa)

I find Ruhens like overly marketed bcos of NOC

If you find Ruhens are overly marketed because of NOC
LivingCare is worst with all the top celebrities in Singapore.

using Wells, also tankless type..
both use a lot of water. you end up paying more for water bills. I suggest people to learn how to dig deeper on selecting which is better.
