(Nikkei) Lego to build $1 b factory in Vietnam. Why not in Legoland Malaysia ?

Govt more stable. Cheaper operating costs. More hardworking workers

Funny how a country's communist regime tends to work better with international capitalism.
Controlled or yield significant influence by central govt from anything on land to the sky. They need jobs for their young people

The LEGO Group today signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Vietnam Singapore Industrial Park Joint Venture Company Limited (VSIP) to build a new factory in Vietnam. The facility is planned to be the company’s first carbon neutral factory and will include investments in solar energy generation.

Roi much better
Just build at one of the many ha of our open land slated for industrial use, at the very least is stable and less chances of strikes, protests, violence, conflicts etc.
