Tesla also battery drain when parked, hence need to be charged almost every few days
I only charged only once a week. The battery drain is not that much if you don’t switch on sentry.

Users will now be charged S$0.48 per kilowatt-hour for using the Superchargers, and idle fees will be chargeable too.

The idle fees will be S$0.50 per minute and S$1.00 per minute when the station is 100% occupied. These idling fees will apply to all Model S, Model X, Model 3, and Model Y cars.

Based on Tesla’s Supercharger prices, the cost to charge a Model 3 standard range would be S$24. As for the Singaporean who took 46 minutes to fully charge the Model 3 performance, it would now cost S$37.44 with the new Supercharger pricing structure.

Cheap lah. What is this small amount to the car owner??? Buy some TESLA shares can cover back all the cost already.

Dunno how to count?

smallest fuel tank in market is 40L.
RON95 is $3/L without discount.
$120per full tank, vs $24 per full charge.
assuming both full tank/charge is same mileage, thats $96 savings.

dont seem like good roi comparing petrol vehicle vs tesla.

Can the one EV transfer it battery power to another EV? I always wonder that cos in those apocalyptic movies, fuel can be siphoned from abandoned cars. But if the world transits to mostly EVs , then how?

All the money you've earned, and all the money you have, will eventually go to paying taxes. just by owning a car, electric or otherwise.

doesn't that bother anyone?

Imagine got full self drive, everyday just lepark sit there and commute to and fro home and workplace. That is priceless.
Automated driving wont work in SG.
As long there are humans at the wheel, theres alot of unpredictable driving behaviours.

audi A4 9km/L
9 years 50k km ($2.84) = 50k/9 *2.84*9 = 142k + (+9k = 151k)
9 years 50k km ($2.2) = 50k/9 *2.2*9 = 110k + (+9k = 119k)
9 years model 3 ($24) = 50k/360 *24 *9 = 30k (+27k = 57k)
9 years model 3 ($24) = 50k/300 *24 *9 = 36k (+27k = 63k)
still a huge difference even if they double the charging price
still a huge difference even when using old petrol price
audi still havent count 9 years of oil change etc
model 3 add 1 battery $22-25k ... still cheaperer

you drive 50k km per year??? 9 years 450 k km???
:s14::s14:

usually will be around 200k km for 10 yrs max. redo calc for 200k km
