oneplus has always been, and will always be my main daily driver phone as its my fav brand currently
Though one plus also using oppo OS lioaz? Realme, oneplus, vivo, oppo are all from same factory.

If u read my previous reply, i did mention the oos12.1 that came with op10p is much better+stable than the oos12 released with the op9p, and its really more towards the oos rather than the cos experience. This is coming from 2x op9p as the main phones to this current combo. And op10p's "coloros" is much less pronounced and more towards oos like b4, as compared to this realme's actual colorOS with some ad built-in. Oneplus also has the vibrate/silent/ring toggle that i really like too. Its really comes down to personal preference, just like how i said i dislike samsung phones.
And all these came from actual usage by myself instead of just hearing/watching youtube reviews etc

So far pretty impressed with the phone

Pros:
1. Very fast and snappy as expected from sd8g1
2. Charging is fast
3. Flat screen 120hz ltpo2 display. This is a major plus for me. All 120hz ltpo2 display in market now are curve screen
4. Haptic feedback is very good. Not iphone level, but one of the best on android phones
5. Build quality is good too. Paper white version is sexy af. Wasted it comes with black silicone case

Cons:
1. RealmeUI - Got ads, but i managed to turn it off
2. Still RealmeUI - Settings seems jumbled up here and there
3. Still RealmeUI - triggers OCD in me. App folder is squarish in shape, while icons is round. Of course i can tweak the icons to other shapes to match the folder shape, but i prefer circular icon shape
4. STILL RealmeUI - App name text is so damn big despite on smallest display size and smallest text size. Can be fixed by installing third party launcher though
4. Initial set up, phone heats up quite a bit. Expected from sd8g1 though

Have not test camera performance yet. Shall test when i am free

In short, value for money phone especially at $78x with flagship specs and build quality. The only downside for me now is of course the RealmeUI. Other then that, for the price, nothing much to complain about

Lol some are like u here, really hate curved screens to the core, i really understand why too but for me its not an issue. Ya realmeUI is probably the decider for some people too. I can tell its more colorOS than OOS12.1 ever was. Tbh its also not too far off from stock except for some icon/ui looks but i feel its much less tamed in terms of os customisation compared to samsung's

Yes i added another point. App name text is damnnnn big despite on smallest display size and text size. Even the text on google news feed is damn big :s22:

Samsung phones u can tune everything.... But battery life on samsung is pure bad

I sold mine and lost around 100$. To be honest i am hardcore Samsung user and couldn't really get use to the UI and software at all.

Default launcher lacks many basic features like App drawer grid size. And unfortunately Third party launchers don't play well if we use gestures
Some how the screen aspect ratio is narrow and annoying even for my reasonable size hands.
Even though the phone has 120 Hz screen, somehow scrolling is not as fluid as Samsung devices. May be due to OS optimizations.

More importantly when we add the google account the verification was very much different like click the number on old devices all. Normally it will just ask for check activity only. Did anybody else encountered the same.

U already say u hardcore samsung user liao :s22: ok next :s13:

But i do agree that there are some features lacking. The RealmeUI is the bottleneck of this phone for now

But spending 1.6k on a flagship for me... A bit tough pill to bite for me. Phone just a tool for me, people can reach me can already

Lol and i am sort of a samsung hater, thou not to the extreme, but ui unresponsiveness of samsung(at least s21u for me), fingerprint issue and price are my biggest gripe.

Yup. Even comparing huawei with samsung, huawei camera wins hands down. I have friends saying realme gt2 pro camera is lousy, but i dont take alot pictures also. Performance and value for money is my priority. 1.6k for a phone, thanks but no thanks...

But in SG, all is samsung or iphone.... Boring....

their dual app implementation is poorer than MIUI, only a handful of apps supported.

Read HWZ Forum Rules on Poco X3 Pro
gah! just received the phone today and MIUI is so much better for dual apps. Altho Real has clone system (which I don't need).

That said...as mentioned..love the flat screen...really hated my XM10 NotePro's curve screen.

Other than the dual app issue..this is a flagship killer for the price. So light!
