This Feedback forum is meant to serve the following purposes:
  • Seek assistance with technical and account related issues (such as unable to access HardwareZone online content, encountered bugs and errors when accessing HardwareZone, etc.)
  • Seek assistance with forum-related issues (such as being unable to view forum content, unable to create a forum post, unable to send a PM (start a personal message/conversation) to other users, etc.)
  • Seek clarification on a Warning received
  • Provide constructive suggestions and feedback on improvements to HardwareZone online services and forums

To report or complain about forum activities (such as inappropriate/offensive user behaviour, inappropriate/offensive content, unsolicited advertisements, spam, etc.), please use the Report function to alert our Moderators to investigate the matter and, if necessary, deal out disciplinary action.

For account-related requests (such as account deactivation, email address change, username change, etc.), please send an email request to hwzmembership@sph.com.sg

Guidelines

To ensure users receive proper assistance with the above-mentioned purposes, the following guidelines are to be strictly followed. Users who fail to follow these guidelines may be subjected to Warning(s) and disciplinary action(s):

1) Provide Clear and Concise information
When seeking assistance, please provide adequate description and detail on the issue encountered. Relevant screenshots and URL links are also very helpful for us to better understand the situation.

Please also keep the feedback concise so that issues surfaced are easier to understand. Adding too much detail, or history detracts from the key issue raised and may complicate matters for the HWZ team. If your point is not clear, the HWZ team reserves the right to reject it.

2) Be Civil
Do not use vulgarity, sarcasm, or any offensive language. This is a forum for users to seek assistance, not for debates or quarrels.

3) Stay on topic
Do not sidetrack or derail the thread. Do not post unrelated or irrelevant comments to the issue being addressed. The thread is created for the thread author to seek assistance or clarification from us, it is not meant for other users to air their grievances or complicate the concern raised.

4) Our discretions are final
Be respectful of our discretions. They are made in a fair manner among the HWZ team according to our forum policies (take note of T&C, Member Conditions, FAQ, must-read guidelines such as this in EDMW) after internal discussion and weighing opinions from both sides of the coin. You may disagree with our discretions, and we have the right to disagree with your actions on our forums. You are welcome to step away from our forum platform if you find our rules unsuitable for you.

Thank you for your cooperation as we strive to make HardwareZone a better platform for everyone. :)

The HWZ team reserves the right to update these guidelines to better serve members and the use of this forum section.
