4 months free now and can do at shop. M1 offer 3 months free and free TP link AX5400 router. Actually should offer 6 months free.
the current M1 offers till 31 Mar so unlikely it will change. maybe 1 Apr have diff promo.

I believe can do at starhub app.. Just apply the code FREE4MTH. however they only mentioned for new sign up. Not sure recontracting customers (free 3 months only) will have this promo .

M1 is 3 months + TP-Link AX72 which is quite good and at $195 which is higher price than Nokia Beacon 2. Starhub is 4 months without router. Overall it is M1 better offer.

You can get TP-Link Archer AX72 from Carousell below S$90. Nokia Beacon 2 at Carousell is at about S$60. But indeed TP-Link Archer AX72 is a better router than Nokia Beacon 2.

Take note M1 offer free digital voice.

But in the end, you should not depend of the free router to decide which ISP to go. It may not be a good idea to change ISP if you do not have issues with the existing ISP.

Ref: both M1 and Starhub are good ISPs to go with.

Carousell price is without local warranty. Overall, i think M1 better deal for new user. Must see Shopee price.

Just signed up for Starhub.
Anyone here have request for opennet fibre connection test during starhub installation?
My house had major renovation and worried there might be issue with the fibre line.

Anyone in the Central East, i.e Aljunied/Macpherson area?
Able to please share how is the stability?
Bad experience on SH mobile network, thus would like to get feedbacks for their Fibre network at this area.

fibre test is part of the installation process. they will take readings to establish a baseline

could you sign up a new broadband contract for your own house if you had an existing contract under your name in your parents house? cause starhub seems to only provide new sign up with freebies. my existing contract ending in jun and will be moving over to own house ard same time.

appreciate your comments.

My contract going to expire but SIMBA not launch yet

My Starhub 500Mbps plan is not under contract for quite some time already, but I would stick to Starhub 500Mbps and not use SIMBA any time soon. I will let the first batch of subscribers test first. :)
