Alipay stopped all foreign VISA/MASTERCARD/JCB creditcards from 31-Mar-2023

This afternoon, I tried to use pay RMB40 shipping and got stucked with above messages..
Had to activate local Alipay paying service.
Soon, my taobao buying spree activity will come to an halt.
No 4.4 for me.. and subsequent events...
Anyone got a solution to this other using 3rd party payer?

Now can only pay by credit card. Just pay directly with Taobao using credit card.

Alipay is too trouble some

last time you can bind your CC to alipay and pay from there. lesser extra fees charge if you bind your card to Alipay

now pay directly through CC and it's in USD, with extra charges for CC.

i had been paying all my taobao purchase using DBS Debit Card via Alipay..
this morning... I cant even pay the shipping fee of RM40 via Alipay with the messages stated that no more foreign VISA/MC/JCB cards allowed on 31/3/23 and after.

I saw this screenshot using paylah.

About 1.5% transaction fee with paynow. Cheaper than credit card 3%.
FX rate Paynow charge 5.10152


Visa charges, still need to include all the unknown bank fee, etc

Tried liao, quite straight forward. Why people make it sound so difficult?


Anyway I will continue using my daifu at 0.5%

can you pay through credit card or debit card. It's workable but I guess they will charge you extra fees.
