switch ur bank and earn from multiplier to POSB Cashback,
you clock salary, home loan, credit card got monthly rebate liao, deposit amount is not important

https://www.posb.com.sg/personal/deposits/bank-earn/cashback-bonus
Thanks for sharing. Can I ask for the salary credit category if monies come in must hold it until the 7th of following month to get the cashback bonus or once monies come in the system registered pass ok we can transfer out the monies in that month?

if you have all that, why you want to go below the minimum?
I didn’t see much returns from my multiplier account at all. So finally did the t-bill step following you guys here. But as per the other guy suggestion I might switch back to posb cashback

salary 5k
every day card 2.8k
home loan 2k

it Shows around $55 on Posb cashback calculator. Maybe This Amount is fine for me. I didn’t really get much from multiplier. Maybe under 1k/year only.

wonder PayLah expenditure will have effect on posb cashback bonus .

no need to hold, once credited can transfer.
once at least 3 categories are hit, wait for 1 or 2 day, the trackers will be updated.

paylah no. if you want to maximise, buy a $1k unit trust bond with 0.5% fee, sell after getting it. you get $30-$5 plus/minus little profit/loss

Since they are all DBS current accounts (not POSB savings etc), should be able to convert without closing:

https://www.dbs.com.sg/personal/support/bank-deposit-autosave-conversion.html
convert is a better option.

What do you mean you don’t see much returns?

Thank you once again.

I have DBS multiplier and DBS vickers. Does converting the multiplier to ‘my account’ affect vickers ?

Then checked unit trust charges showing ‘0.82% online sales charge ‘. cannot find anything 0.5%. This charge is annually charged ?

definitely convert to poscb cashback to get passive $50-$80 /mth if you are not able to reach the higher tiers for multipliers or if you do not have high $ to deposit.

Personally I converted to POSB Cashback, and used the $100k to put into HSBC Step-up instead. I think that's much more logical.

Do we have to use the POSB Invest-Saver to buy these? Can we buy ourselves manually in iBanking under 'invest'? The reason I asked is because, this is my 5th year of DBS Multiplier, I am planning to convert to POSB Cashback. But I already have all 4 ETF above and did not sell them yet. So, I would need to
1. Find another Bond/Fund in the iBanking Invest section to buy and bear the 0.82% sales charges, and
2. Wonder can we buy ourselves manually, (and sell after getting it) so that we don't need to keep changing the fund every year.

1. you can do lump sum purchase, it is counted. it can be the same etf or bond.
2. yes, lump sum purchase, buy and sell few days later.

You can take a look at the HSBC EGA Step up thread. If you are not particular about earning an extra 1%, and happy with 4.5% interest range, you only need to move the money away from HSBC after every 4 months.

Wow this is damn good deal. Seems better than the multiplier sh iat:I use the posb cashback bonus calculator and enter $1000 UT and then saw cashback bonus increase by $30.

so it’s better to redeem the UT once the cashback is received ? Or can I keep the UT permanent unless there is gonna some recurring charge on the UT. does DBS vickers transaction qualify for the posb cashback bonus. I can do like one buy-trade every month Which will likely cost me $11 in trade fees .

when is the the cut-off for this month posb cashback bonus. My brother has same house loan,cc and salary credit on posb. i can try to force him but UT to get the extra $30

any other recommended UT that functions like regular snp500 etf. I don’t mind paying $8.5 fees for $1000 product if I can get back $30 cashback bonus and then the UT functions like an investment

You will not get full $30 becuz buy that time deduct about $5 for 0.5%. And then when sell that time price may move (hopefully not) so should be less than $30

I am planning to migrate away from multiplier after this month. Just don’t want to waste any reward from multiplier since it’s already 2/3 of the month. I understand the multiplier bonus interest is given on 7th next month. So 8th may should be a good day for me to convert multiplier account to ’my account’. And then immediately buy the UT?!?
