Hello everyone! Just wondering if there's anyone here from the cancelled Quantum CNY sailing? I was offered 100% refund + 100% FCC. They never sent me the FCC certificates, but I managed to get RC Singapore office to redeem partially for my Apr 2022 sailing. There is still $1700 left, and I was under the impression that a new FCC will be sent to me for future redemption (based on info on RC website + email that was sent to me after 1st redemption).

But now when I wrote to RC to redeem the remaining FCC for my Jan 2023 sailing, they claimed that because it is a Goodwill FCC, I can only redeem once and the remaining balance has been forfeited. The travel advisor at RC Singapore never communicated this to me when I book my Apr 2022 and Jan 2023 sailing, and I kept mentioning that I want to use my FCC from my cancelled sailing.

Just wondering if anyone has similar experience?

Hi canis_minor,
I was one of the affected ones. was also offered 100% refund + 100% FCC. I have utilized my FCC as much as I could for my 1st cruise in Spectrum in Oct'22 and left $96 FCC each for both my husband and I. Kids are free and they dun refund us the port tax and gratuities. For Oct'22, we booked and paid the $400 deposit, called up RCCL for the FCC codes and applied them. We were told there was a balance of $96 after they applied whatever is possible. Fast forward to Oct'22, we booked our 2nd cruise via NextCruise. I did emphasize i have a balance of FCC credits but of cuz I couldn't remember how much was it. They says the only way to retrieve them is to call RCCL which we have no means to do so on board ship. So we finalised our dates on board and I called up RCCL to request for the 2nd FCC codes to applied on my 2nd cruise. I did received an updated invoice and my FCC was deducted. Dun write to RCCL, just call in, be a little bit firm. Because as what it was stated in their website, they will re-issue you a new FCC number. You just give them your quantum booking reference, they will pull out the records and everything should be clear. Hope this helps.

Thank you @jjaslynn! I managed to get back my FCC after making a lot of noise at the various department. And they said they will "make an exception this time" =.='''
Enjoy your second cruise! :)

Hi guys, I've booked a cruise trip end of March. However, my dad's health condition has worsen and my family is worried that we will not be able to travel therefore thinking to cancel our trip.

Does anyone know if RC will provide refund for such situation if we decide not to continue close to the cruise date?

Nv buy insurance yet leh. But insurance covers this kind of situation?
Yes. With Doc letter said that he is not able to travel.

Back to your question, you ask RC directly.
During Covid time, RC allow refund in credit if the trip was cancel.
Term and conditional might change.
