I read from Youtrip website that first SGD400 withdrawal per calendar month is free. Any amount after is 2%. They also mentioned there is a possibility of additional fee which is vague here.

I'm keen to find out if anyone has successfully withdrew money from a Hong Kong ATM using YouTrip card. What are the extra fee involve?

Any internary for a 3 days hk trip? Is it too short

better start a new thread. 3 days depends what u wan to cover or like to see. Some things like ngong ping will take up to half a day. Or if u intend to cover food?

By the way 2 things to add,
rates at Tsim sha tsui is way better than sg. Specifically the money changer inside the same building as Jenny bakery. Those along the main street roughly same as sg.

2nd, I have a bunch of hkd to exchange, anyone interested in exchanging at spot rate? I’ll throw in the coins for free, pm me if interested.

doable and depends on what u want to cover. Senado, church ruins and old fort can be done together. Then maybe some of the famous local food. But if wan to hotel hop like go see the Venetian etc maybe a bit tight.

Thank .

Will there be any issue going macus from HK then back to hk for a day trip ? Since the stamping of passport should show in then put for hk then macus in and out then again hk right?

And for hk what is the must cover internary?

no issue, its just like exit hk to enter macau and back again. but u better double check any travel restrictions if any. by right we are visa free to hk and macau.

HK. many things leh...u first time? i suggest u go youtube and see those 3/4 days HK vlogs and see what u like.

just disneyland can take u 1 whole day leh...yes 1 whole day. if u do not buy the premier access pass, each ride wait is at least 60 mins. and fireworks is at 8.30pm but to have any decent view, probably have to start camping at 8pm. there is a special viewing area if u r willing to spend and that is also packed.

I don't like Disney or ocean world this type of stuffs .. but I find Marcus more place of intrest than hk. Like the London tower those church and fort. I will try to cover them in my day 2 to marcus . Wake up at 6am and start traveling over

By the way, their plug should be type g same as sg right?

Already book flight 5 day trip but actually only 3 days can sighseeing, the first and last is flight time
Check no travel restriction or test. Yes visa free hk 90 days and macus 30 days

historic places? Hmmm. Victoria peak, along the way to tram station, u can visit St. John’s cathedral. U wan to see old hongkong buildings can walk sheung wan, central, wan chai areas.

Having dim sum at lin heung kui also a fun experience. Go 2nd floor to mix with the locals. Food is good and relatively cheap.

hk plug same as sg. Macau I can’t remember.

I dunno ur flight timings but u might be able to squeeze in ngong ping on flight days as it’s right next to the airport. I seen tourist drag their luggage’s along as they went up on the cable car. Probably need 2-3 hours depending on whether u climb the big Buddha or not.

I only walked past some shops to have dinner inside the outlet mall. From the discount ads I would say it’s roughly same as other outlet places. I’m not a shopper. Sorry.

8pm flight? Plenty of time if u ask me. I think u can pay to leave ur big luggages at the cable car station. Probably 10mins by cab from outlets to airport.

Anyway don’t have ur meals on top of ngong ping, prices are cut throat. Just have ur meals or pack something from outlet mall side.

What kind of note denomination would the ATM give if I were to withdraw 2000HKD?

I believe some Hong Kong shops do not accept large notes.

$500. If u wan $100 notes then do $1900 or $2100.

haven’t encountered any shop that do not accept yet. After covid they are pretty hungry for business. Of cos I wasn’t doing things like using $500 to pay for $20
