Ok. Already past return policy, just want to rma cause bought at prime day price. Using the amazon chat to ask seller where to rma. Hope it will be easy to rma.

Why don't you try and email SK Hynix directly and see if they can do the RMA? So instead of sending it to the US, assuming Amazon US is happy to RMA for you, you just send it to Korea?

So far, I have been buying Crucial SSDs. They are not the best, but to be honest, you can't really tell the diffrence other than in benchmarks that I don't run. At least I know I can lodge an RMA request directly on their site. For most of the brands, unless it is very cheap, I won't buy because it is really regarded as no warranty.

Should be e waste too. SSD with InnoGrit IG5236 controller has very high failure rate, some within days or even DOA. Can do a search will find many people complaining.

Essentially avoid the Lexar brand in general, it used to be good when it was a US company, now supposedly bought over by a chinese company, the quality go downhill past few years.

Newer batches of this drive might be using Maxio MAP1202 controller.
