Go to Google play store and download the Zoner Antivirus app, do a initial run to scan for threats.. if the results are clean, it will mean that you are safe. Otherwise it means your Google app is not the true stuff. It's a malware..

I guess you have to do a side load using a backup file of the app from another more established device or hardware like Samsung. Or by using your older phones.

Dunno if yours is legit Google app, but it would not surprise me from a china manufactured phone perspective, American software is regarded a virus

if u look into your App List, scroll right till the bottom, u sometimes see som app with empty (blank) icons. those are likely to be malware.

I guugle also … it says the Google virus alert is a fake! … a scam trying to trick you to click some link or install some .apk which will steal your info

If this Google support thread is correct, it is supposedly a false positive from the pre-installed "Optimizer" app in Huawei & Honor phones.

Settings-apps-optinizer- stop optimizer - cache and data clean - start optimizer
And than all works fine

Where the notification come from?

From my phone optimiser, i think the apps was frm huawei because i neber install before. I download mobile av n do full scan so far found nothing.
I remember last few days i received spam whatapps later i block using 3... Frm the top, i dont click block or not in the whatapps msg there worry is fake button.
