Then nego with who?Depending on how despo are you for the job, and how much the hiring manager likes you, you could try asking for more. At least I succeeded in adding 2% more (citing a bunch of supporting eg i join won’t have increment along the rest, company expecting to give increment of 5%, this is just half, and emphasizing on value add bla bla). Also try to avoid the hr in these nego discussions.

These days got new offer also no guarantee can last. Some just started work, within mths kenna lay off or offer get retracted before start work.over the past 6-7mths i think i sent out smelly smelly 50-60 applications, only half at least talked to the recruiter. and out of which 1/3 get a first round interview. then 1/4 of it reaches round 2 and beyond. and finally the first offer has came! wasnt the the best offer i am expecting (expecting at least 10% but offer is about 6% more). the more enticing benefits is only need go in office twice a mth.
told them i will give a good consideration on this and get back to them on monday. just wanna make sure i am making the right choice. then can wait for end jan bonus payout and throw letter. they are willing to buy me out 1 month of notice, so i dont have to serve 2 full months notice at current work
good for you, i'm in something niche, too hard to move off from tech sigh.ya. tech lost its charm already. moving to non tech to do tech a better option now
