not worth. finding job is hard.
grab is not easy u think..... a lot tried grab, and went back to work in company.

not to mention, if she fail to get bto on first try.... she may need to work that low income for more than 1 year.
just get resale....then go by housing loan. then can rent out also.

i think this 1 year low income plan is more suitable for those who gain more advantages over disadvantages.

Cannot rent out whole unit during MOP.

For once I am going to agree with this.

I am unemployed with no job offers. Then today my brother told me my mother has to be hospitalized because of some abnormalities with her heart after taking an electrocardiogram.

I have zero mood to do anything now, let alone prepare for interviews. F my life.

The Council for Estate Agencies (CEA) shared that previously, a HDB flat utility room, or storeoom was rented out on an online property portal.

Investigations revealed that the property agent did not get the flat owner's consent to advertise the room and based on HDB's rules, flat owners are not allowed to sublet a utility room.

The agent was also later issued a Letter of Advice for not complying with applicable laws, rules and procedures.

Only bedrooms originally constructed by HDB can be rented out and "all other parts of the flat (including partitioned rooms) cannot be used as bedrooms for tenants".

Renting out an utility room, bomb shelter, or storeroom in an HDB flat is illegal.

The good old days of 1990s are gone forever. Jobs in abundance and don't have to compete with foreigners for good paying jobs.

Anyhow quit today. Next few days can get new job immediately. I am not talking about blue collar jobs.

Cost of living is low. Lots of disposable income. HDB flat prices are reasonable. The price increase is very gradual over a long period of time. Unlike the past 15 years.

To be fair and objective the cost of living in popular US cities are skyrocketing also. Only China is super value now especially F&B. Economy is in bad shape.
