seriously quite imba... they are damn serious about encouraging mid-career upskilling and training.
they are serious? i think they foresee a lot of retrenchments in the months ahead
those who gets retrenched 1st might benefit more as courses start to fill up, and get delayed, those who retrenched later might not get ttheir retraining slots

Would have been more helpful if they let it be flexible to have part time diplomas too

Poly ft diplomas are 3 years wor. No need to make money to buy food meh?

Not an accountant,but easily can calculate costs employing mid. locals (those unemplyed for some time)take up jobs outweight letting in young "FT".
Maybe their FT own countries skills future their own speaking ,comprehension and efficacy in languages before coming here to work.If not,isn't this fritter the local company costs $$ when employing these incapable workers?

first thing shld weed out foreign hr n foreign hiring mgr, head of dept and etc

impose restriction in no. of foreign manpower first then talk...
