I think what people are saying is
If he is 100% culpable, why does everyone seem so much angrier with the Merc? That’s all.

because it sounds that way. Maybe you all didn’t intend for it to. But really, it sounds that way la. That’s all. No want to quarrel
I think the merc asked for it, came up with lame excuse that was quickly fished out. then apparently by the hand of god got very recent bad road behaviour caught in tape.
and then people died.

so yeh, he asked for it

Oh you mean the video that was purposely edited to left out the first part of the video where the bike overtook the merc recklessly to provoke the tailgate?

by the logic here, if the bike never overtake recklessly the merc won’t tailgate right🤔

should we witch hunt the bike also if that is the case
Mentioning the other Merc case will once again even more blur the topic for this Saab. It’s so odd.

Tats too lenient for lives lost, whether if he is drunk, reckless or in a bad mood. If deceased is breadwinner or supports family, this must be fully compensated on top of a harsher jail term. I pity the family of those injured or deceased.
Not long ago during COVID also got tampines super man driver, that verdict not closed yet rite

no leh, it's more like saab is 100% at fault, what's there to discuss??

Exactly, probably because they know the Saab driver and want to inject some grey area into the case to help him.

Sadly it won't happen because the traffic police will trace back all the way from the place he started driving off (possibly some night clubs or Clarke/Boay Quay).

This kind of timing - early daybreak - likely should be Sunday night drinking high and returning home at dawn on Monday. Then banged car.

Can give summary of how the accident happened?

Haven't seen the video

Main Characters
Black Saab driver is the Killer

White Merc - another vehicle involved in an accident with the black SABB, just a few secs before the Black Saab driver hit and killed innocent road user

There were three videos emerged on social media, showing different POV from 3 different vehicles..

First video captured the Saab driver speeding on the 1st lane in a 2 lane road.
There was a motorcyclist on the 1st lane and a white merc on the 2nd lane.
The bike was blocking the Saab on the first lane so he sped even faster to overtake the white merc to cut into the 2nd lane.
Instead of slowing down, the white merc suddenly sped up in a clear attempt to hinder and prevent the Black Saab from cutting into the 2nd lane.

To avoid hitting the motorcyclist, the Black Saab squeezed in between the bike and the white merc and the 2 cars sideswiped

Instead of slowing down, the Black car accelerated even faster and beat the red light at the front junction.

2nd video capture the massive impact it caused when it collided with a few vehicles

3rd video showed how shockingly fast the Black Saab was travelling when it beat the red light.

He only reacted after everyone scolded him left right center (again 70% of the posts on this thread was about him and not about the Saab) right?

Let the record state that I am NOT defending him, I just feel like the thread should read more angry with the Saab b*stard who killed and injured many

wah means u never follow this thread.... go see b4 and FB kenna csi until no tmr liao
Pls dont spread fake news. The profile person is working at a car repair/maintenance company. He also posted that he was only posting the dashcam and he was not the driver of the Mercedes. So what you're saying may not necessarily be true.

The same Mercedes driver, in a separate driving incident just 2 days before the accident, also driving aggressively against other road users.

We can see he's got a pattern. His aggressive driving is on him tho. At best, as I said, he may have contributed to increasing the speed of the Saab due to his aggression. But yes, he's not the one who crashed - this is also clear.

Might explain why he deregistered the plate. Change plate so reduce being targeted. Thanks to some bros here who informed the rest of us that the image of abrupt Road Tax cessation suggests the car was impounded rather than deregistered. Still, the car owner might also change car colour in the process, so he's a little less visible than a bright white AMG with the same or a different plate number.

Edit: Correction. Thanks. =)

haha doubt it's something so elaborate.. more like there's a pecking order of dislike here..

reckless mercs>reckless saab.

Now if the Saab was driven by a FT who also cycles on weekends in his cycling suit with his cyclist friends, then it will be

reckless saab >>> reckless mercs

By all logic even if one is being tailgate reckless by another should just compose his cool. Not trying to outrun each other.
