Mine is about $410 - $450 for 4 BR with 7 pax staying together. Never use air con at all.

Any tips to reduce the usage?

Reasonable. My 3room Electricity. Portable Cooler only...At least $120 +-. Towncouncil $49. Gas + water $35

is it cool ?? i only find below 25c should be cool

suggest buy an external temp sensor (<$10 ea) to monitor yr room temp, AC temp set not = true ambient temp (due to AC efficiency, room leakage, sun on windows etc)
u might be paying lots of electricity monthly unnecessary to run 20°c but getting just 24-27°c etc

personally 26-27°c is cool comfort for me, of which i get just by running at 28°c AC settings
When i set to 27°c my room ambient temp gets to 25°c

Whatever it is, PAP, u got to subsidise MORE for our water & elect bills.

I suggest subsidising 50% at least.

SG getting warmer by the years, citizens bathing more to cool down, using fan/aircon more at nite to get a proper sleep so to be fresh to work next day... A tired worker isn't productive and it is a vicious cycle.

It's hard to imagine how students and NSFs can get by each day in classrooms and bunks without air-conditioning in this climate. Its so hot that its no longer funny.
