This must be the Easiest-To-Win S500 event ever! So many star players not around. YJM & LKY so wasted! 😪
Rooting for Rin-Kie to win their first-ever S500 title! 😘

Still have vit, LZJ and CTC. These three ah boy will has a hard time playing against.
Come to think of it, the peak lky in 2021 alr found it hard against these 3, especially vit, yesterday saw a old clip of the hylo open finals against lzj, the shot quality or selection of lky back then wasn’t top notch either, putting himself at positions unable to defend, similar to certain shots against WTW this week, or lifting too short halfway through the court. But he was really visibly confident, focused and fast, able to react to and run around the court to retrieve shots. LZJ’s smashes were just as powerful back then, always giving his opponents tremendous pressure in defence, but he was likewise pressured by lky’s speed of attack, compressing his own reaction time. 3 years down the road, he’d accumulated injuries and more burden of expectation, certain shots r more deliberated, yet reaction has become slower when the shot is returned by a quality opponent. Fewer times he would go for the kill without hesitation at the net or relentlessly smash his way through nowadays. If the training here can’t help his shot selection or quality, perhaps he must find his confidence and readiness to move and react and take the shuttlecock early first before Paris. The increased speed of movement was also what made jiamin sorts of improved recently, but could have contributed to the injury. Tty mentioned YJM’s speed after their last encounter, so that contributed to her better chances against high ranked opponents - ability to better retrieve and take the shuttle early.
