It’s better to have a higher cooling capacity and operate with higher efficiency rather than a lower capacity and operating at 100% load. So its MKM85VVMG for system 4.

I saw this, can’t agree more

Hi Jun Jun, thanks for your sharing from the pro shop.

Model 75 is nominally rated at 6.0kW or 20.4K BTU (6.0 x 3412), using 1.22kW electricity per hour

Model 85 is nominally rated at 7.0kW or 23.8K BTU, using 1.71kW electricity per hour.

In the above situation, model 75 is more energy saving provided the 20.4K BTU is sufficient. The model 75 provides only 6K BTU to 2 common room and 8.4K BTU to master bedroom.

Which is why in theory, the model 75 is more saving, but it may not meet your primary objective of cooling in the first place without knowing your floor plan. End up, your condenser will have a shorter lifespan, you would likely to use more energy by constantly running at full 100% or higher speed and your rooms are not cooled.

I will end my replies to you as it seems like my questions are invalid and not important to provide in order to give a better suggestion to you
Usage pattern for each area: at night we will turn on 25 to 26 degrees for all 3 bedrooms for about 12 or more hours. Then morning time my sister room will be on while ours off.

If you’re using the Aircon constantly then I suggest you don’t max out the compressor to save Pennies and spend pounds on electricity and repairs
I think running at rated is most efficient overall. In terms of cost and energy. The ticks are given with the unit running at rated. If rated is enough why spend more to let to run at less than rated.
I’m not sure why one can say that having over capacity and running it at less than capacity is best. You do pay more upfront for excess capacity that you do not need.
For me, I am willing to pay for a higher capacity as I want the room to be cooled asap. Sure, more energy will be consumed for the 1st 15mins. But of course if you want to save money then getting a lower powered unit will maybe take 30mins to reach set temp. Since it is an inverter subsequent power used will largely be the same as both units will throttle down to maintain temp.

your master bedroom after install wardrobe same size as common room.
System 3 28VG or daikin 75, more than enough.
Basically 10k x 3 is very sufficient to covered all rooms
Because the topup to 12kbtu is minimal would it be beneficial to get that for mbr? Thank you for your kind advices! Appreciate it!🥰

Also currently i am using panasonic x premium r32 series. It has a auto fan dry with nanoe x function. I know daikin doesnt do this automatically. Issue is if I switched to daikin, will I need to service more frequently for dirty fancoil? Currently if i switch to daikin i will get the full 3 years warranty. But I really like the panasonic design and features:(

Hi, could I check, how long is this Panasonic you used? If I am not wrong, this model should be less than 3 years old.

Second, I saw somewhere your video about the sound before, is this the issue or some other issue that prompt you to change the aircon? Is fixing the issue cheaper than to change a new one costing probably $3.2K to $3.8K range?

Third, there are some members here I know is anti-Panasonic and would not hesitate to ask you to buy Daikin or ME Starmex.

For comparison, if you have an existing Panasonic 4XU33YBZ, 9/9/9 configuration will be using 1.52kW per hour compared to 3XU28YBZ at 1.24kW.

Compared to Daikin model 75, which runs at 1.22kW, your savings would be 0.3kW per hour or 3.6kW per day. This is 1314kW per year and $427 per year cost. This is assuming all 3 running for

Is it worth to go the extend to change to Daikin model 75 where the cost savings will take about 8-9 years to recover?

We still don’t know why you need to change to a Daikin or Starmex, save money on energy spending or noise that may or may not be able to be fixed?

If it is the noise from FCU that cannot be fixed and is not giving you a good rest, then it makes sense to change for sleeping peace.

But if it is the bill that you are having issue with, you need to ID what is the root cause of the high energy use. It could be the water storage heater, induction cooker, computer desktop left powered on at high draw of 450w and up or even refrigerator which could draw 2kW per day.

definitely, whoever sold you the 4XU33YBZ on 3 FCU short changed you as 3XU28YBZ is more efficient and has similar capacity for 3 FCU

but your original placed on above door, slightly far from bed to FCU, install 10k btu may need set on 25C with fan speed 2 bar at least.
For 13k airflow much stronger , 26C with fan bar 1 more than enough.
2.8kw vs 3.5kw standard from 13k btu. The difference from 620w vs 810w from starmex

Installed since nov last year. I have the chance to exchange to another model as they were unable to resolve my issue, since they were unable to resolve my issue.

Yes i agree. Overkill. Sound is not disturbing my sleep just that dont know what causes that scotch tape sound when refrigerant flows in and the sound is intermittent. Just afraid overtime there will be more issues down the road as warranty expiring and repair can be expensive.

Fan coil plastic cover issue? Midnight got sparkled noise or cracking sound?
