Just pre ordered the samsung G80SD at 1.65k
Pre order discount + app 10% discount.

Most affordable 32" + flat screen + Matte + speaker available. Initially I wanted the LG one with pixel sound but it seems like LG SG have no intent of bringing it in , and 3rd party shop selling it at 2.2k.

If you guys have corporate discount for Samsung it will go down even more. In Aus/NZ it goes down more than 50%.

Want to check with existing monitor owners here. Is there any diff to connect via HDMI / DP for 4k 240hz if I'm using 3080.

Also any recommendations if I need to get a longer cable. Since most of the time the default cable provided is 1.5m only.

Thanks

Samsung G8 vs Alienware AW3235,

which would you get?
still believe Alienware is better because of their outstanding support
Not sure about Samsung, though.
Edit :Warranty for burn in Dell covers for three years, while Samsung never mention about oled burn in warranty

Purchased two monitors. My alienware monitor, AW3423DW, had a problem, but it was a Chrome issue. Despite this, they came to my house to do a one-to-one exchange, and I also had a gaming G3223D monitor that I gave to my nephew he loved it a lot

i saw it in Reddit that the monitor covered in Canada for 2yrs but not in USA not sure it is true
i also have check and call Samsung Sg sales they say for oled monitor there is no burn in warranty it is only covered for TV
and he say if there is issue with Oled monitor they will evaluate it case by case basis :s22: :s22:
