if you willing to fork out more money = meant you really need the car.

Artificially kept high or not is not the point. The point is people can afford. If people can't afford, ads won't even be able to sell any car so how do they keep bidding COE so high?

Same rationale as why HDB keeps getting million $$$ buyers. People can afford, EDMW is jealous
