I 抄经in traditional Chinese. Until now almost can recite. I started because almost got into a road accident. That day was guanyin bday. It was a split second kind of thing.
Then all along I nv stop writing Chinese because my nieces n nephew need my help in Chinese from Pri school until O'level.

Now i find no point in writing chinese.. cuz we dun need it.
Can type in chinese on phone is very good liao. Somemore we dun need to use that much chinese in daily life..
Ever since graduate from o lvls my mother tongue standard also dropped. But expected lah. In sg is like that. So rather focus on English more. Somemore it's easier to read books in eng than chi.

That’s true.
My dad has hearing issue so sometimes I write in Chinese for him.
Some common words will have difficulty remembering how to write.

But if you are not writing for work, business or exams, a few 错别字 is ok.

eg 游泳池， 池 write wrong more or less still can understand.

Every language also like that.
Need to read, then have confidence to use/type, then you when you use enough you will be able to write.

My nephew this 2 days PSLE oral. It's 25% weightage out of 100 for Chinese. Even compo is less important compared to oral for PSLE. Last night we refreshed 节约用水，科技辅助，健康生活，乐于助人。Think one of it come out. Later need to revise Chinese with sec 2 niece. Her Chinese oral test tmr.
