I regret not signing up early .now I am stuck with starhub.they told me I can hold to the fibre tv box for as long as I can but if the tv box break down , they will not have replacement box for me as they don't support anymore.Indeed, but probably only for new sign-up. Existing users can still use the old basic Singtel TV box. The good thing is that you can use Singtel CAST app on your mobile device or TV box to watch now (one instance only).

However, I think those pay for the DVR box will still get the traditional DVR box.

Android box interface very hard for my old parents to navigate and is laggy compared to traditional set top boxAndroid TV devices are better anyway, so why hesitant to switch over?
Now Singtel copy SH TV+ passes. Cheaper than Traditional box and more flexible and support 4K UHD which is a big thing in Sg. Very good.
活到老学到老 not necessary so as practice make prefer. Why android? 1. cheaper 2. more flexible to change TV contents 3. Support 4K UHD with HDR. Some even got digital surround sound. Basic 4k UHD TV is good to use. If got money buy 65" OLED TV.Android box interface very hard for my old parents to navigate and is laggy compared to traditional set top box
Not force because it is a better option.I regret not signing up early .now I am stuck with starhub.they told me I can hold to the fibre tv box for as long as I can but if the tv box break down , they will not have replacement box for me as they don't support anymore.
Planning to switch to singtel tv but they also change to Android box now so no point switching now.think all these telcos wanna save cost by forcing consumers to use Android box instead of traditional tv boxes ..
One day sure do away.Indeed, but probably only for new sign-up. Existing users can still use the old basic Singtel TV box. The good thing is that you can use Singtel CAST app on your mobile device or TV box to watch now (one instance only).
