You do not seem to know how to stock pick.

Govt policy is a big factor in stocks performance.

Trump policies will support
1. natural gas
2. small modular nuclear
3. US manufacturing boom (MAGA policies)

and stock picks along those lines may bring extraordinary results from 2025 onwards. Now how about you contribute something that can help us all make loads of $$.

Two ways big money is made in stock market:
why should i listen to ur own takes? whether what he wants can materialise or not is highly questionable. us manufacturing boom? they r so expensive, how to chicaboom? haha... think critically pls.

.

2. small modular nuclear
What is the best way to invest in nuclear?
Those data centers need yuuuge energy.

3. US manufacturing boom (MAGA policies)
Time to buy INTC LEAPS?
Small modular nuclear technologies supply chain
  • CCJ (they own Westinghouse)
  • BWXT (supply fuel for US military)
  • LEU (supply fuel for US utilities)
  • US/Canada uranium miners: CCJ, EU, UEC, DNN
Much more risky:
  • LTBR
  • SILEX Systems (SLX on ASX exchange)
  • SMR (very risky stock, have to dilute shares to stay in business, trades like Carvana)
  • Personally for Q3 2024 onwards, I'm invested in Global Atomic Corporation (GLO on TSX exchange, GLATF on US OTC exchange) which is waiting for US DFC bank debt financing decision as catalyst for 2X rerate by end of Q4 2024 (latest Q1 2025) (note the time frame, it's not a buy-n-hold forever)

US manufacturing boom
  • CIEN (Ciena corp, optical networks between datacenters - this I get from Citrini Research)
  • ETN, FAST, HUBB (industrial & electrical) - need to wait for correction.
  • INTC is still a long-shot bet, because leadership recovery is dependent on the high-NA EUV which only starts with Intel 14A process in 2027. News of progress may leak out only in 2026, so now may be still too early for Intel 14A. Intel also needs a culture change, I heard that they are losing datacenter market badly to NVIDIA and AMD due to inability to design for customer needs.

2024 -2025: Still no Intel 14A. Looks like AMD is still a better bet than Intel for 2025.

Yes, timing also need to consider. Otherwise, buy high and sell low is lose money.
So what's your stock picks and reasons? If you have none (or no reply), I'll just accept dca into SP500 ETF (SPX) as your default/passive investment choice in US market.

U tag me on this for what..,
Nvidia/AI boom is going to face a bottleneck in electrical power supply. If Nvidia's customers can't get enough steady electricity, they won't be able to invest in their AI datacenters, which is unacceptable, hence the power generation investment is also needed.

WTF? Nvidia beats and I see red???
Didn't Jensen pepper his speech with enough "AI"?
Cramer Effect is working?

My morning is ruined.

That's why, I use BRK.A as benchmark. I still underperform BRK.A in my portfolio performance by a little. Very tough to beat his strategy of holding lots of T-bills and buying only undervalued business.

It is just market makers or option market makers moving the price around to reap biggest rewards. Too many bulls already.

https://www.cnbc.com/2024/08/28/nvidia-announces-50-billion-stock-buyback.html
With Nvidia’s shares dropping 4% in extended trading despite reporting solid financial results and announcing a stock buyback, some experts believe the company has been doing so well that it is getting harder to impress investors
I hope this can make u feel better?
