HDB qns - How to distinguish qhther the 2RM flexi BTO project includes rental flats?

I dun want to pay more to buy but still same block as rentals. Not being discriminating but feel unfair if i get same block as rentals yetpaying more

U pay for the downpayment and monthly installments likely to be higher than their rents OR u pay full with your savings, then get the same flat in the same block.

If say Rentals are in their own block and purchased units are of another, then i think its still ok la.

It will be shown on the detailed map when the project is launched. Btw, all the 2 room listed for sale are really for sale only, none are rental flats. You see 110 2R flexi means all 110 are for sale. Rental flats exist in their own different system not open to public

They may in close proximity but usually different block right. Anyway if that’s where you can afford, what’s there to complain? If not buy elsewhere. It’s a no brainer right

Same vicinity im ok. Dont want same block, loke this unit is purchased, just next unit is a rental.

2rm short lease flats are rental flats. You can't sold it in the resale mkt have to returns to HDB. The selling price you bought from HDB divides with the lease of no of mths is the rental price you paid for the rental.

All flexi flats are mixed of short lease and 99yrs lease flats. It's only managed by who got the ballot.

Someone did suggested mixed of rentals and BTO in same block. But not sure did they really implemented that before? But current BTO don't have such flats.

Why keep harping on poor families rental? If one is so atas and well-off, will not buy 2room flat too. Frankly you’re also renting from HDB. Just on a different payment system.

Rental flat usually ugly design. Normally corridor dun have parapet walls. Only railings. And quality of the people staying there also cmi.
