quite underwhelming the specs

lesser ROM (8GB), only 1 USB 2.0 port (we are almost quarter century past Y2K and only still getting USB 2.0, and only 1 this time around)
only 2 X 10W speakers. No Dolby Vision?

and still the same CPU/GPU from 3 years ago.

so what's the powerful features this time around?
I am currently on the lookout to buy a new 43" UHD TV and came across the new A Pro 2025. I was also surprised when I noticed the storage and speakers downgrade.

Kinda contemplating getting the 2023 43" A Pro instead. Might anyone know if it's an IPS or VA panel? Thanks!

The 2025 A Pro series of TV on hardware specifications don’t seem so pro. So so only and compare to big brand from LG, Sony, Samsung. The spec is a joke in 2024, the only best part is the price, truly match 一分钱一分货。

I experience before when there is a an update, suddenly go to Home screen & stay put for quite long, press remote control to other input also no response (like hang), can only wait for it to finish. Frustrating when watching show.

Anyone know how to turn off/disable auto update? Using Xiaomi TV A Series (Google TV).
Can't stop it... just have to live with it... my 4S 65" always updating... just wait lor...

I managed to disable google store update & so far no more update 'hang' problem from apps. As for xiaomi tv own update, didn't experience it for a long time.

I'm currently using Samsung 65" DU 7000 & 50" AU7000.

Intend to get Xiaomi 55" A Series. https://midisplaystore.sg/product/xiaomi-tv-a-55/

It comes with Free Antenna & I know able to watch local Channels.

One question I have is, does it support Red / Green / Blue button see pix), the function of VOD (Video on Demand) ?

those buttons are for samsung's app. for android tv, you can install mewatch app, it can offer vod.

I'm intending to get Samsung Crystal UHD series, now there is a new DUE8000 series similar to DU7000 series. May i know how is it? the picture quality and brightness and darkness?

My xiaomi Q1 75" TV yesterday went haywire again, keep jittering and flashing. This morning on TV, still ok, but this is a second episode that the TV went haywire. So i'm preparing for the worst and intending to switch back to Samsung.

If similar, just look at the CU7000 for review: https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/samsung/cu7000-cu7000d

I saw the TU7000 a few years back. Looks sharp but bland.

My mother bought the LG 65UT8050 for $959 at BD Bedok Mall. Not bad. IMO, look better than the Samsung DU8000. Their 75", I'm guessing $1299 ... ??? Their 85" looks nice, so I bought the Sony 85X90L with 5 years warranty.
