Life buoy very drying. Strips oil from the skin very well. Feels clean but very harsh in your skin.

I’ve been using it for a number of years and recently realised that it’s banned in the US cos it’s deemed to be harmful to the skin. How ah? Should I change my body wash? I always thought Life Buoy was a better alternative to Dettol.

I have using dettol and was glad they were honest during Covid times that while many other brands were misleading about protection against Coronea virus, Dettol said they were still working on it to find out if their soap is effective or not.

Second, u go hospital and see see look look, u can tell obviously which is the trusted brand professionals are using…

I personally find that Dettol doesn’t lather well, and you can’t really wash off that somewhat still-soapy feeling … I know that most people say that’s supposed to be good for the skin, your body oil etc … but I don’t like that feeling like I haven’t washed off all the soap.

Lifebuoy doesnt have this still-soapy feeling, and I personally felt is not too drying.

Anyways, I also use Shokubutsu Men - it also don’t have this still-soapy feeling … anyone want to say it’s not good?

okay lah. at most make your skin dry only. US is not as humid as here, so the dry skin can be severe especially during winter.

I know indo people in batam also use this daily for bathing.

Couple months back Have a travel bottle, used it for a couple of days because I ran out of Life Buoy and was busy period for me so couldn’t go to my usual shop to buy refill.

It was the yellow 1 (lemon?).

Maybe yours too long never use lose effectiveness.

all shower gels are chemicals....use handmade bar soap to be safe.
