The system makes west side too rely on east west line to the city area of sg. seriously west side needs another fast alternative to city area.

if it happens at east side (particularly Tampines and Bedok), i can jolly well take DTL, TEL or bus 23 or 518 to get to city area fast but for Jurong west side the only 'faster' alternative is 502 and perhaps 174.

and I don't think the new JRL will help with it as everyone will end up cluster f at Boon Lay, Jurong East and CCK anyway. not only it does not go city area directly it doesn't even link to DTL, TEL and CCL.

I think they auto assume. BL and JE are major public transport hubs in the west that's interconnected, either one of it down means both are down.

Radio dj mentioning got parents pay 100 bucks just to send their kids to PSLE exam
So exaggerate. Only from buona vista to JE spoil only. So serious?
Use hydraulic or borrow heavy duty equipment from SCDF to push up the train. This one still need armchair edmwers to teach?
No need quotation, risk assessment? Also not life and death situation cannot anyhow "borrow"?
This type need consult SCDF and army first.

If I can WFH, I sure ask for it

Raining plus the inconvenience to travel make me don't wanna go out

JRL is just a a branch system that reach out to "bird also dun wan to lay egg" areas. not meant to transport them to town.

Please, no more parallel tracks. No space.

Govt needs to have the courage to commission a new line near aging lines. But this will anger people who stay near the old line as their properties have appreciated due to the MRT
Perhaps can consider to build the resilience parallel lines underground?
