At the end of the day, there’ll always be that someone out there who is younger, more attractive, and everything that we are not.
Have we ever wondered how our partners view us too? Are we still who we once were when we were younger?
Going by that logic, when does it end then? We keep going for someone more attractive, younger and everything that our partner is not? No one seems to mention the hard work needed to maintain a relationship.
I don’t disagree that sometimes, there may be a feeling of disengagement between two parties over time.
Someone new comes along, changes that perception and it feels so refreshing of all a sudden. Point is, if we are never going to put in the work on our partners, the same would probably happen again and again..
