Although the parties are rivals and not expected to "give face" to each other, i feel there should also be a limit to how far small gassiness should go.

Of course, for parliament immunity to be waived off against the ruling party MP is difficult since this requires a majority of the MPs in parliament to do that and I suppose waiving of immunity is only possible to fix the minority oppo MPs.
