Some delete already still can continue though. Mayors who take million dollar extra salaries but don’t know what their jobs are. That’s the difference I guess. You and nickname see it as absolutes, the rest don’t. There is a spectrum. And we make do with the spectrum.
Pragmatism.

Why Gigachad ask the intern to grill LTK
Because LTK is not the crux of their defense

The main focus is still on the credibility, or lack of, of the 3 key "witnesses" whose testimonies were used as the basis for this trial

From CNA:
Court adjourns, will resume at 11.30am tomorrow

The police investigation officer was supposed to be the next witness on the stand, but Deputy-Attorney General Ang Cheng Hock has asked to dispense with this.

Mr Jumabhoy said he "had not considered that". Parties agreed for the investigation officer to be on standby when the trial resumes tomorrow.

After the prosecution's last witness, Mr Jumabhoy said he would then be asking for time to make written submissions to the court.

Previously, the defence had asked for the hearing on the morning of Oct 24 to be vacated, as Singh wanted to attend his daughter's graduation, where she will give a speech.

As any questioning of the investigation officer tomorrow is not expected to take long, Judge Tan granted this application.

Singh's trial will resume at 11.30am tomorrow.

Defence lawyer Andre Jumabhoy asks Deputy Principal District Judge Luke Tan if the hearing can resume at 11.30am tomorrow so that Pritam Singh can attend his daughter’s graduation, where she will give a speech.

The judge agrees.

No objection from the prosecution this time? 🤣

WP leaders told Low Thia Khiang on Oct 11 that they planned to expel Raeesah Khan

Pritam Singh and Workers’ Party (WP) chair Sylvia Lim told former WP chief Low Thia Khiang that they planned to expel Ms Raeesah Khan, when they met Mr Low on Oct 11, 2021.

The WP later announced it convened a disciplinary panel on Ms Khan’s actions on Nov 2, 2021, a day after she came clean in Parliament.

Mr Low added there was no mention at the Oct 11 meeting of Ms Khan’s position as an MP, but that Singh and Ms Lim also told him they planned to hold a press conference for Ms Khan to come clean about lying to Parliament.

Asked for his response to the planned press conference, Mr Low said: “I told them that it doesn't work to just use a press conference or a statement. Because Raeesah Khan lied in Parliament, the correct forum is Parliament, and she should apologise and clarify in Parliament.”

When asked by Deputy Public Prosecutor Ben Mathias Tan what the pair said in response to this, Mr Low says he does not remember.
Funny leh...All the prosecution witnesses all got patchy memories....

I still don't see how they can prosecute Pritam beyond a reasonable doubt. Evidence all shaky and provided by bunch of liars and drama queens
he got 2 charges

gut feel is will be found guilty for one charge but not the other
