As much as I wanted to hate it, it is actually not as bad as it seemed to be. Installed the one with the screen, other that it cant be used for gps, it works well.

Need to mute the beeping though.

somehow my 1st Gen IU decided to malfunction last week. Gantry cannot detect my IU.

i went for check, they say change liao. cannot do anything. so i lppl went to change for 'free'.

they asked me what the screen, i said dunwan. so they gave me the screen in a box and a paper on how to DL and setup the 'Motorist app'

End up install the antenna only

then they ask where i want to install the unit itself. i ask them can install in the glove compartment, kudos to the machinic, he did try but say cannot.

so he suggest install under the passenger side, in a deep dark place since i was setting up the ecashcard so will never need to touch the unit

1) Takes about 30mins - 1 hr for your new unit to sic to their server, so you cannot link your IU with your flashpay card yet. wait loh.
2) the ecashcard needs few days to activate - make sure ur flashpay top up abit of $$ first
3) the moment i drove away, literally can hear a BEEP sound every 5mins. damn sian. dunno is cause i drive to fast or simi... cannot turn off the BEEP
4) mechanic set volume to lowest, its still quite loud - i cannot even set the volume from their ERP 2.0 app.... #smartnation
5) bloody instructions tell me go DL a motorist app, end up i go DL the ERP 2.0 app easier. The motorist app macham got ads here and there one.
6) the ERP 2.0 app itself got issues to sic onto my car's android system - end up i still using waze
7) need install simi erp 2.0 app, simi nets app. app here app there. last time its just simple cash card, go ATM top up sua.
8) BEEP BEEP BEEP
9) having the ERP 2.0 app detect your OBU not so straight forward, need copy your bluetooth address etc inside blah blah blah - old peepur sure sian .5
10) 550mil for this rubbish... its not even seamless

Meaning ERP 2.0 will make it a lot more expensive to drive until the roads are more vacant.
