The parent should come up and let people know which school to add pressure. The bully should be at least suspended for years to make sure he fail his PSLE and go Northlight to continue fighting.
I suspect the parent may be too busy to make a living.
Sometimes they may not be good in English to challenge the principal.
In this case, since a police report has been made, the parent can choose to escalate. K shan and PM Wong are both MPs in the north.

if we are gg to take it that children shd be given a second chance . then the 1 taking the rap shd be the parent.
fine them gao gao and jail them 1-2 months and also cover all medical fines . during this period children can go to a kids DB sit for a while.
Medical bills should include emotional damage and psychological treatment. Lost of future earning ability. Good to bankrupt the parent for the bully to lose the parent due to financial stress.

I think bullies reveal their true animal self when they are in a group.

They like to bully to make themselves feel good and feel more superior than others.

I personally recommend very harsh punishment to let them realise their mistake. Let them not repeat it again. if it’s not a harsh punishment, the bullies won’t learn. In fact I worry what messages are we telling to parents and kids out there if there’s no real punishment to bully others who seem vulnerable.

not supporting the bully, but the kid who got beaten is likely no saint himself—probably has a snobbish look and may not be the first time he snubbed the bully

Hope woke MPs grill cotton like COP in next parliament. How come the kid never go to jail and deported. The inclusive scheme of education just don’t work. Bad apples should just be put in bad schools and let them fight all they one to not spoil the whole basket of apples. Why should good kids suffer under bad kids because of need to be inclusive
Shld grp those bullies tgt, let them have a trial who's biggest baddest😁

Since ah seng make the statement that bully should be given 2nd chance, it make it difficult for the school to sack the bullies.

As for the cost of living, we all know that there is no incentive for them to lower the cost as their bonus is tied to GDP, whatever they said is just lips service
That’s why I think punishment is a must. We can dont expel the bully , we can still give him a good education (because he needs it to survive in today’s society), but he should be punished, and severely punished, so that he knows the consequence and pain of his actions, and other bullies will think twice before committing bullying actions.
Bullies dare to bully because they are relying on something. They are relying on their presumption that nobody will stand up for the victim, and that their bullying action will go unpunished.
