No, but tying to a static IP lessen the occurance

Never get "wifi authentication" prompt from Aus routers, using GT-AX6000 + RT-AX86U, both running Merlin firmware with adguard. Mate20X is my secondary phone, using everyday, tested with Zero1, ZYM and MY's Hotlink. No problem whatsoever, still fast enough for everyday app, frquently downloading/streaming 2 security videos simultaneously.

Try manually setting IP for each device thru router DHCP server.

Just me, the OLED color is getting overly saturated with max brightness--but that's me being critic about color accuracy. Also keep getting selection draw instead of press, had to disable the very useful double knuck screen capture.

I'm using Ax56U with merlin too.
This wifi authentication problem is happening across all Huawei devices in the household: Mate 20X and P30 Pro

I get none from my Huawei devices, Mate 10, Mate 20, Mate 30, P20 Pro, P30 and P60 Pro.

Go back service center for battery change is the best.
Not much queue now that Huawei isn't a popular brand anymore. Usually can get back in the same day if send in early.

As of now, all apps still can use.

Aim for service day on the first Saturday of the month ,free diagnostic, no labour fee , that was what the staff told me

The price is in "My Huawei" app.
I just checked and it states $50. So if you go on service day, $50 is all you pay.
If you are changing battery, I would suggest changing the USB C charging port as well. I was told by the service staff it's only a few dollars.

Be mindful of battery replacement from Huawei, just did my d.I.Y battery replacement. Found out that the existing battery in my mate20x was from 2018, and I did a free battery replacement 2-3years back with Huawei before the warranty expire, also there are 3 missing screws internally. P.S. as for the faulty button, just had to cut a tiny pc. of thin hard plastic and slot between the gap where the button is.

My power button is faulty .how to resolve ?

U need to open up back cover, slot a thin plastic into the gap between the button and where the contact is.

I just went to 313 service centre to ask, there is no more stock for Mate 20x battery so they are unable to change the battery.

Just to share if anyone still using this phone, CPF app cannot use on this phone already. Need to use via browser
