Timberland brand shoes are good. They last a few years. Many of the models are quite waterproof, anti-scratch, anti-stain, good cushioning for ankles and has anti-slip soles.

There are also some models which are designed for hiking, usually easily recognizable by it's waterproof leather fabric, high collar and tongue.

My Timberland boots are 11 years and counting. Just need to take care of the uppers and clean it when dirty, the outer sole is damn durable and SAF boots should use it too. lol
