The question is, do u provide the money? If she is a tai tai at home, then it’s fine to expect her to cook. But if she has to work, then not really fair to expect her to fulfill traditional roles when you don’t fulfill yours

Cooking can learn. Is the girl willing to learn or not. Not that many are good in cooking one. Most get married liao then do alot and get better.

My friend married his wife who is incapable of cooking. One day, I received an invitation to their home-cooked dinner, and all we had was.. all of the canned or fried food is served with rice. (such as chicken franks, nuggets, canned tuna or fried eggs) with no veggies at all.

However, the in-laws live nearby so my buddy and his wife frequently tapao from their family to eat.

It's been 5 years since, they are both decent cook now.
